1.2GHz single core isn't exactly cutting edge - but is it enough to handle the BlackBerry Bold Touch's hardware and software?

yes. I have been using the BlackBerry Bold 9900 "Touch" for a couple of months now. No problems. I can run Ubersocial, open links in the browser, use shazam, take a pic, all the while polling 3 email accounts etc etc... I haven't had a single moment of lag or freeze. It's not like you can play GTA on it
If you're thinking of getting a Bold 9900, let us know what you want to do with it I'm pretty happy with it, but it fits my needs. It may not be for everyone.
