Talk about cranking it up a notch. HTC caused a press feeding frenzy yesterday at Mobile World Congress by announcing no less than five new phones, along with their HTC Flyer tablet. “HTC has really f****d me up,” one particularly stressed journalist told us.
Well, as if that wasn’t enough, Engadget reckons there’s yet another HTC handset in the works, and – if the rumours are true – it has fairly ludicrous specs. And the name of this chap? The HTC Revolver.
The HTC Revolver will reportedly have a 4.3in touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 8MP rear-facing camera and 3MP on the front.
Confusingly, the HTC Revolver is rumoured to use Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), which has been seen exclusively on tablets thus far. HTC’s Flyer tablet, on the other hand, will forsake Honeycomb in favour of Android 2.4. What the…?
The Yanks might see the HTC Revolver as soon as Spring. Stay tooned.
