Yesterday we learned that the Nokia Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 are coming to select countries in Europe, with a classy anodised gold colour on the sides. Taste is subjective, but we really appreciate the subtlety, and the contrast with the black and white rears.
We’re not too sure about these latest additions to the smartphone world, however, namely the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 24K gold, courtesy of NavJack. Subtle they are not.
Who the heck is NavJack? Check it: "Sculpted Essential, Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Every material contains a sculpture, our task is merely discovering its essence." Zuh?
In case there was any doubt, the backs of the 24K gold iPhone 6 and Phone 6 Plus read ‘24K Gold Plated Design’. Owners might also wish to invest in a special sticker that reads ‘I HAVE MORE MONEY THAN I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH.’
The gold predominantly features on the rear and sides of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but it’s also visible on the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, where it actually looks quite nice in contrast with the white. See, sometimes less is more.
24K gold iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus price remains a mystery for now, but you can bet it’ll cost a fair few copper-plated steel pennies, of which I have roughly 17.
