LG Optimus 3D touching down tomorrow at Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy

LG Optimus 3D touching down tomorrow at Carphone Warehouse and Best BuyGood news for anyone waiting patiently for the LG Optimus 3D to finally touch down in the UK: the 3D-loving smartphone will be with us tomorrow, July 1 – a full week earlier than planned.

The multi-dimensional handset will be available from a limited selection of Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy branches, with a wider release still on schedule for July 7.

LG has certainly kept us waiting long enough: the Optimus 3D was announced back in February, and since then several rumoured launch dates have come and gone without the Android-powered handset making an appearance.

But after all that, the Optimus 3D is actually going to launch early, with Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy having secured a one-week exclusivity on the stereoscopic handset, starting tomorrow. It'll only be available in stores, though – and not all stores, either.

Been out of contract since March waiting for this baby to drop. Will hopefully get one within the next week or two providing Orange don't delay it further to add their own branding to it.

Just been to Phones4u, they also had 2 handsets in this morning across all their main stores. They hadn't even unpacked them so was told to come back later if I wanted to have a play with it.
