Does anyone here have a 3D phone?

If so, is it worthwhile? Does the 3D give you headaches??

gla mate best bet is simply to try one out at say cpw or p4u because 3d is one of those things which some people cant see can cause serious headaches issues with eyes.

I don't, but I have seen comments here by happy 3D-users. On the other hand, Mobot's Lewies Curdie has regular complaineritis about headaches and dizzyness...

I used a Nintendo 3D thingy and after 1 minute I had to crank the slider to OFF... felt too odd for my taste.

Whether it gives you a headache is a personal thing, some people it does, some it doesn't. It doesn't seem to matter if you have generally good or bad vision, just totally random, in my experience. I'd definitely recommend trying out any 3D phone for a good half an hour before you buy it, otherwise you'll be stuck with something you'll maybe hate, for two years. As for whether it's worth it, again that's personal preference, I hate 3D, it makes me feel positively ill every time I see it, I get headaches and start to feel sick after only a few mins. I had to leave the cinema when I first went to see a 3D film, I just felt to ill to stay. Also, the 3D effect on phones is...well...not that 3D ish really, there's little depth IMO.

@matt101101
Yes, its not like 3D at the cinema. Instead of things poking out the screen, its like a window looking in. There is a tiny bit of jumping out the screen but not enough to make you go wow.

I don't really have any medical problems with 3D even though I am slightly short-sighted and wearing glasses and contacts. That said, I don't feel it adds enough to justify the extra price, increase in power usage, lower picture quality and definition and the fact you have to kind of concentrate to view it properly.

Yes, I know it's not like at the cinema but it's all 3D that makes me feel ill, personally. I tried using the 3D function on my TV, and that gave me a headache for the rest of the day :(, as did my friend's Nintendo 3DS.

I do agree about it not adding enough to justify the high prices though. Even if I could bare to actually watch 3D, I wouldn't say it looked that special tbh.

I have perfect 20/20 vision, but 3D makes me feel ill, when my mum came round once, I showed her the 3Dness of my TV and she thought it was rather cool, and she's blind as a bat nowadays :p. Though I have friends who love 3D and have perfect vision, it seems totally random , like I said...bit odd really.

Cheers treab :p, nah I bought it for it's 2D picture quality, and it came with 3D as well, by chance. I thought I should try it out at least once, I hated it...my TV can make me feel hungover without touching a drop of alcohol haha :P.
