3G or HSDPA – which is faster?

HSDPA is faster than 3G. The former (sometimes referred to as 3.5G, 3G+ or Turbo 3G) provides speeds of up to 7.2Mbps, while the latter maxes out at 3.6Mbps.

Mind you, always consider what you are downloading: do you need the speed? To check emails or skype IM e.g. gprs/2G is okay. Disabling 3G and or HSDPA will increase your battery's 'life' by up to/over 100%

It won't make much difference as most of the time you won't get a speed much over 2meg. The networks will always make voice calls a priority as it's their bread and butter.
