Will 4G contracts be more expensive?

Will we have to pay more for 4G tariffs?

Possibly not... but they might not have the same terms ;) i.e. maybe more minutes but less MB...
Yay, 100mb of data on a 20mbps connection...that'll take about a minute to burn through. When it comes to 4G, unless it comes with unlimited data and tethering, the networks can get f*cked, they're not having my money.

Who knows? Apparently O2 are finalising their 4G tariffs, so it would appear we will be paying more (I can't imagine O2 will be finalising cheaper than 3G tariffs).

Unfortunately, you're probably correct.

Genuine question, do you actually care about 4G? As in, do you actively desire having 4G in the UK or will you just be glad to have it if it costs the same as 3G and has equal or better coverage, because that's obviously a better connection for no more money?

me? hell no wont affect me... (unless it weakens the 3g signal)

Oh yeah, I meant the concept of 4G, I realise your S2 isn't suddenly going to become an LTE device.

tbh the concept of it would be useful... however i know full well what will happen... it wont be successful.. it will end up like the train service...

I think we'll see a repeat of networks offering unlimited data again, and then withdrawing it.

But at the beginning there won't be any difference in prices for sim only contracts/2G/3G phone contracts. Only 4G phones will have higher price contracts with more data (but less minutes) i guess.
