Can I use my 4G sim card in a 3G phone whilst I decide what 4G phone to buy?

wow....

And this is how EE get away with charging ££££ for 4G. Because customers are dumb enough to believe the hype and that 4G is an exclusive feature. You can get 2G and 3G on a 4G SIM as well. + you spend most of your time on 3G anyway due to the fact 4G coverage is limited and useless for calls and texts.
