When will we get 4G in the UK?

Is there an ETA for 4G in the UK?

The Ofcom auction for the 4G spectrum is set to take place next year (2012), so the first usable 4G networks are likely to appear in London in 2013 sometime. It'll then likely spread to other big cities, Manchester, Birmingham etc. It'll also probably be "proper" LTE 4G as Ofcom are far stricter than the US regulators and wouldn't allow the networks to pass HSDPA+ off as 4G, because no matter what AT&T and T-Mobile USA say, it isn't, it's sort of 3.75G, (counting HSDPA as 3.5G as some people call it).
