You ring your O2 customer care and tell them you now have a BlackBerry. They may or may not send you new settings. If they do, apply those settings. Turn off your BB, pull the battery. Wait 30 secs. Re-insert battery and start. Then start the BBM application and you should be prompted to jump through some registration and activation hoops. Possibly, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of BBM via the app-world.
