Can you add tethering on Three for just a few days?

Does anyone know if you can add tethering on Three for just a few days? I won't have broadband over the weekend.

Yeah, Internet Max Add-on is £5.11 a month for 2GB of data.

Although if it's just for a few days, I'd just do it anyway and if they say anything just apologise/

No, I don't think you can. You would need to change your plan for at least a month.

What you can do is get around tethering block. Try searching online on how to do it. You might need rooted/jailbroken phone - I haven't done it in a while.
Three will catch you after some time (if you continue doing it), but apologizing and promising not to do it again always works first time around.

Just do it anyway and beg for forgiveness (play dumb, say you had no idea it wasn't allowed as you've already paid for your data, so why does it matter how you use it?) if they say anything. They'll almost certainly let you off with a warning if you've never been warned before.

Matt and CTPAHHIK

Three have advanced tethering detection software. So the OP can't try and tether because it'll be automatically blocked. Hence why Sprucey said to buy the £5 add on.

Usually it's on the unlimited plans (excl one plan) where Three are strictest and block tethering automatically.
