Adobe leaks Android 3.1. MaybeWhile listing the changes in the latest version of its Flash Player 10.2, Adobe has – perhaps accidentally – suggested that there’s a brand new version of Honeycomb on the way.

In the list of changes, Adobe mentions “Hardware accelerated video presentation” and “Enhanced browser integration for Honeycomb tablets”, and both apparently require a little something called Android 3.1.

The blurb has now been amended to read: “requires an upcoming release of Android 3”. Engadget has confirmed with Adobe that an update for Honeycomb is on the cards.

It’s not entirely clear if the updated version of Honeycomb will indeed be 3.1, or if Adobe made a wee mistake. Time will tell…
