Alcatel OneTouch T10: 7in display, Ice Cream Sandwich

Alcatel OneTouch T10: 7in display, Ice Cream SandwichHey, what do you know? One of my news stories today doesn’t concern Apple. Logic dictates that this one probably relates to – no, not Samsung, or LG, or Motorola, or Sony, but – Alcatel?

See, the French manufacturer has dished the dirt on a shiny new device called the Alcatel OneTouch T10. Catchy, and ideal for a 7in tablet.

The tacks are made of brass, so let’s get down to them with some Alcatel OneTouch T10 specs.

For starters, the Alcatel OneTouch T10 rocks a 7in display (800 x 480, 16:9), single-core 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, and 1GB of RAM. Remember single-core Android devices? Goodness gracious.

Alcatel OneTouch T10 storage weighs in at a modest 4GB, but thankfully there’s a microSD slot welcoming an additional (up to) 32GB.

Other Alcatel OneTouch T10 specs include Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), a 0.3MP front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.

There’s no official word on Alcatel OneTouch T10 price or availability, but with the Kindle Fire HD and Google Nexus 7 starting at £159, we’re thinking this bad boy would be seriously cheeky to ask for much more than £100.

You can read more about your new favourite Android tablet over at the Alcatel site.
