Is it ok for me to sell a phone I have on contract? I'd be keeping the sim.

Yes No Yes No...
Strictly speaking, the phone belongs to the network until you paid off your contract.
But realistically, they don't care what you use while you're paying off your debt. I guess the could be warranty 'issues' if the new owner wants it fixed?

Or if you fail to repay your contract and the network want to repossess your phone, you'd be in deep s**t if they found out you'd sold it. They'd take you to court for damages. Officially, no you can't is the truth...but as Jan says, yes you could, only the warranty and if you failed to pay up would it become an issue.
