Amazon Appstore offers 30-minute Test Drive facility

Amazon Appstore offers 30-minute Test Drive facilityThe Amazon Appstore still hasn’t appeared in the UK, but our transatlantic cousins – who were treated to a free exclusive download of Angry Birds Rio when the Appstore launched last week – can now take advantage of a Test Drive feature before buying some apps.

The feature allows customers to play around with an app on their computer for up to 30 minutes. Of course, that means using a mouse instead of a touchscreen, so it’s not quite the genuine Android experience.

The Test Drive facility is only available for around 20 apps at the moment, but more are expected soon.

I think I can safely speak for all UK-based Android users when I say: screw Test Drive; where the hell’s the Appstore?

Well, I think it is pretty smart - lets face it, LC, we are not norm-al :p
A lot of folks would probably like to try the Android thing that way?
