Amazon smartphone manufacturer?

Who's making the Amazon smartphone? HTC? A relative unknown?

Judging by the first images, they bought some Lumia 920 cases and drilled 4 extra holes into the front :p

I doubt anyone knows for sure yet, they've been talking to numerous OEMs.
Probably someone quite big like Foxconn, Pegatron or Quanta (who make the Kindle Fire).

HTC are also rumored (since an October FT article) and could be a good fit with HTC being in a hard place at the moment.

As sprucey said, it could be anyone really, though it's likely to be a relatively big name seeing as Amazon aren't exactly short on cash. If it was my money, I'd bet on it being someone like Foxconn or Quanta (simply for their existing relationship with Amazon) as opposed to consumer known brand like HTC.

That case is probably just to hide the true look of the phone.

Although, I don't get how they're going to get away with that UI, considering TAT (The Astonishing Tribe) made it previously for Texas Instruments before RIM bought them out.

I'm not complaining about the look... It's a sh*t photo, but what I see I like...
