Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich leaked for Nexus S 4G, you can flash it nowIf you're in the UK and not in the clutches of an American carrier, you probably already received the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update on your Nexus S. Owners of the Nexus S 4G version from Sprint, however, are still stuck with Gingerbread if they haven't gone down the custom ROM route.

Not much longer, though. An internal ROM has been posted on Sprint's servers, indicating that an official update is nearing release.

For those who do not wish to wait, however, you can already go ahead and flash it now.

Download links and instructions are available on xda-developers, as usual. We should note that this is an internal version, so it may or may not be stable enough for day-to-day use. Even then, though, some people are actually speculating that this may already be the final build that is going to be sent out over-the-air, considering how well it seems to work for most. Just don't say we didn't warn you, okay?

By the way, if you're a Galaxy S II owner still missing out on the Ice Cream Sandwich fun, you might want to check out a leaked version for your device.
