Android 4.0+ YouTube App: How Do You Show Uploads Only?

So, ever since the Android YT app got updated to its new style when Jelly Bean was launched, it's p*ssed me off that I see all the activity from the people I subscribe to (for example, I get links to videos they've rated or commented on in my subscription feed). On the computer it's easy to change this to "Uploads Only", so you only see the videos the people you subscribe to upload and not all their activity. Is there a way to do this on the new style Android YT app?

If anyone needs more info, I'll do my best to provide it.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah see what you mean, seems to be only on individual ones, yep that's flawed.
Stupid thing is, you can do what I want on the new iOS App Store version of the YT app.

Grrrr.

Is Channels the bit that subscriptions go to? Or is that just because it's an artist?
If not give me an example to sub to
If so I clicked on their channel and right at the top next to Youtube is an uploads/activty toggle.
Course am using a different device and different rom so not sure if it's same.

It's called your "Channel Feed". If you go into an individual channel, you can set that channel to uploads only, but you don't seem to be able to do it for all your channels in the Channel Feed.

All Android 4.0+ phones (as long as you've updated the app) have the same layout for the YT app. Tablets have a different layout, though.
