Android gaming

What's Android like for gaming?
I'm torn between an iPhone 6 Plus and a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but not sure if Android gets games as quickly as iOS.

iOS gets the best new original games but Android is better for emulation, with a Note 4 you could carry around massive NES/SNES/GBA/N64/MegaDrive/PS1/PSP libraries on a MicroSD.

There is ALWAYS that ONE exclusive app or game that you want and you have the wrong OS.
Having said that: I'd go with iOS. But that's me - Android disliker :p
