Android mp3 player?

Is there such a thing as an Android-based mp3 player? Like an iPod touch but with Android?

Yeah, there are several versions of the Samsung Galaxy Player, which is an Android I touch.

Cheaper: http://www.usa.philips.com/c/mp3-media-player/gogear-connect-3-16gb-sa3cnt16k_37/prd/en/ I have to admit, I have a weak spot for Phillips' underrated 'uncool' products

Impressively cluttered look to that screen. Not keen on the ugly side buttons and seemingly no availability this side of the pond.

Sony have some too. z1000 series and the new f800 series, pricey though and no cameras

I second the Samsung Galaxy S Player. I have the 5.0 and it is a phenomenal device and occasionally an absolute steal [recently discounted in HMV for £99 (8GB)].

It is basically a big Galaxy S (without the GSM tackle) but with a massive screen, massive battery and a decent DAC/audio chip. If you can't afford an S3 or a Note, or have any interest in Android devices buy this one.

I like the SD card support in the Galaxy S player, but 5 inches are quite a lot for an MP3 player that you carry (possibly) in addition to a phone. So, it may not be for everyone.

There are other sizes of the Galaxy Player.

No doubt :p and more to come - the Ace, y, w, Infuse, Note, Omnia ... we are talking about Samsung.
