Do all Android phones offer the same number of homescreens?

But there are 3rd party homescreen replacements that give you more homescreens.
Personally speaking - I'm not into loads of active widgets because they kill your battery and eat resources. It takes a couple of seconds to open an app WHEN you need it.
And spreading apps shortcuts over 7 screens? May as well scroll through the apps drawer.
Even with Sense or Shell 3D I always ended up with one homescreen with the shortcuts, toggles and notifiers I really use.
But hey, that's just my preference.
