Android "Ringer Volume" increasing by itself

Hi. I have an Orange San Diego which has been working perfectly until now. The problem being that the Volume rubber button just decides to increase itself at random times. Even with me pressing down the volume down button doesn't help, as the increase ringer sort of overpowers the decrease ringer. If that makes any sense. I've tried rebooting the device but to no avail. I also had this problem with my Huawei g300

Hi. I've also just now been receiving a "This USB device is not supported" notification when in fact I have nothing plugged in and I am just browsing on the internet. Phones not hacked is it?

Where did you get that notification? On your desktop? I don't understand tbh...
Can you back up and do a factory reset? And no, I don't think it's 'hacked'. Smartphone 'hackers' are usually after your info etc... making your phone unusable defeats the purpose.
