Apple brings Samsung legal action to UK

Apple brings Samsung legal action to UKIs everyone sick of hearing about Apple and Samsung’s petty legal squabbling? Me too. Just shut up and make phones you douche bags.

Apple reportedly filed new papers with the High Court in London on Monday. Rumours that Steve Jobs hand-delivered the papers – rumours we admittedly just made up in an attempt to make this story more interesting – are entirely unfounded.

This latest filing is just another in the back-and-forth you’re-using-my-patent no-you’re-using-my-patent saga. It’s not entirely clear which patents are involved this time, but we imagine they pertain to a touchscreen phone with a swipe interface. Or something.

To give an idea of the scale of the Apple-Samsung battle, ZDNet lists a further 19 cases across the globe, encompassing South Korea, Japan, Italy, The Netherlands, France, Germany and the US. Sigh.

Incidentally, a source of ZDNet adds that Samsung is appealing against the Regional Court of Dusseldorf’s decision to uphold the Galaxy Tab ban in Germany.

Can I file a case with the UK Justice for the sheer boredom their legal actions are causing me? Just get on with competing in a marketplace and stop making the Lawyers rich
