We all love some free stuff, and iOS users are getting theirs this week as Apple celebrates the App Store's fifth birthday with some good ole' fashioned freebies.
A bunch of apps and games have been discounted to zero today, including the likes of Infinity Blade II (which Lewis has already written about today). The biggest discount of all comes on the Traktor DJ music app for the iPad, which normally goes for £15.
What's strange about the whole thing, however, is that the whole thing has so far down without any kind of press release from Apple itself.
We know the App Store's official 5th Birthday is on Wednesday, but whether we'll be getting daily giveaways (please) or this is it for the week (hopefully not) remains to be seen. The latter is unlikely, to be fair, but we've yet to hear anything so we don't know the nature of each day's app-related festivities.
Hopefully more will be revealed soon – Apple is on the West Coast of the US, remember, so it might just be a matter of waiting till the PR gears start turning there for the day.
In the meantime, here's the list of goodies to be had – if you're running iOS, you know where to go.
