For the past few years, Apple has held its major unveilings – for both iPads and each of the iPhones – in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA), San Francisco.
However, according to All Things Digital – who originally broke the October 4 story – Tim Cook will make his public debut as CEO closer to home, in the Apple Town Hall Auditorium.
It’s not entirely clear why Apple has opted for the more intimate venue, though it could be something simple like the YBCA already being booked.
Indeed, absolutely nothing is entirely clear about the iPhone 5. Have a look at An iPhone 5 by any other name, a cheeky feature I penned on Saturday providing a synopsis of the various iPhone 4S/iPhone 5 rumours.
October 4 is a week tomorrow, peeps, so if All Things Digital is indeed on the money, we won’t have long to wait.
