With only around two months left till the Apple iPhone 6 launch, the rumours are set to go into super-overdrive.
In our second iPhone 6 story of the week (yesterday we heard that the 5.5in model might be delayed till 2015), we’re looking at what’s supposedly the world’s first shot of Apple’s next smartphone flagship.
The purported iPhone 6 pic comes from KitGuru, who leaked a genuine pre-launch pic of the iPhone 5 a couple of years ago. Said pic was removed within 24 hours, but obviously this iPhone 6 pic is already spreading like the wildest of fire.
Not a whole lot of detail is given (the snapshot supposedly originated from Foxconn, for what it's worth), but we’ll assume we’re looking at the 4.7in iPhone 6 as opposed to the larger 5.5in model.
The thing that stands out for us is those volume buttons. Good lord, I’m not too sure what’s going on there, but they don’t exactly scream “Premium build!”
Having said that, the iPhone 5s volume buttons are arguably on the small side, so maybe those big buttons are on the money. Hmm.
The side of the iPhone 6 appears to be gold (heck, do any phones not come in gold these days?), while I’ll bet my last Jan Stuhlmacher that that’s a Touch ID fingerprint scanner beneath the display.
That’s about all we have to go on for now, but inevitably we’ll have more on the iPhone 6 tomorrow. And the day after that. And the day after that…
