Apple suing Motorola in Europe, not happy about Xoom

Apple suing Motorola in Europe, not happy about XoomLegal eagle Florian Mueller of Foss Patents has picked up on a little something in Apple’s complaint against Samsung. Apparently the blurb refers to two other complaints against tablet manufacturers.

One of those is Germany-based JAY-tech, and the other is none other than bloomin’ Motorola.

Yes, Apple’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been upheld, and it seems that it’s also going after the Motorola Xoom in Europe. Jeez Louise.

It’s not clear from the passage exactly what Apple is looking for, but it’s probably safe to say it’ll be hoping for a permanent injunction. The complaint against JAY-tech was reportedly upheld "in its entirety".

There’s no love lost between Apple and Motorola. Over in the States, they’re duking it out over no less than 40 patents.

I think I speak for everyone when I say: sigh.

Pathetic Apple, again. Are they a tech company or a bullying law firm...I forget nowadays...
