How many apps can you squeeze onto a 16GB iPhone 4? Are you talking hundreds?

That depends... There are apps for the iPhone that take up a MB, and then there are games that weigh in at half a GB + ... Middle of the road? Yeah, a few hundred ;)

Also depends on if you are going to use some of that 16GB for music, videos, photos (taken with camera or stored)e.t.c

True, Reser...
A movie from iTunes takes up a whopping 1.2-ish GB!!!
Plus, if you get hooked on the iPhone 4's fun camera, its output will quickly fill up memory, too.

Most apps, you only ever open once anyway. I'm sure you'll end up self managing them anyway.

It's like asking how many people can you fit in a lift, depends on the people

If you want the latest hi res games I suspect you could fill 16gb (well 13.5gb ish) with about half a dozen..

Wanna hear something funny?

The N2 only has 10.36GB usable space from its 16GB of internal memory oO! Thankfully, I have a 32GB Class 10 card from my S2...

Is there much empty space in the system partition? Rather a lot of apps on there by sounds of it. Think the One X Jan had way back when had a lower proportion of available space though.

San Diego manages more space but partitions the internal memory for some reason. 2gb marked as internal/data and 10.9gb as sd card/usb. 273mb free on system too after small clean up.
Think the partitioning will be an irritant when I put card in..
