Anyone want to be on TV? Channel 4 show SuperScrimpers is looking for some people in or around London that can do an interview this Saturday (11th August). They need people who are on contract and who have gripes about their mobile phones - say you are not getting any reception, you have suffered an unexpected price hike in a contract mid-term, massive roaming charges that you didn't expect, or any other issues you are facing. If this sounds like you, can you drop us a line with the details of the issues and your contact details, and we'll pass it on to SuperScrimpers!
Hey Mobotniks! If you're techie-minded and able to string a few sentences together, we might have a role for you here on Mobot. We're looking for people to write up tutorials, hacks and how-tos, for all things mobile phone. If you'd be interested in helping out, please email telling us about your interests and the type of things you could write about. Thanks!
Just a quick post to let the Mobotniks know that there are a few upgrades available for your avatars. We've added some funky headgear! So, just make sure you are logged in to your Mobot account, head over to the avatar builder from the settings page, and choose some new headgear. I'm being a stereotypical girl by choosing a tiara. What are you adding to your avatar? And is there any other headgear you'd like to see?
Here we have a Mobot video of the brand new Panasonic Eluga Power smartphone. Of all the new smartphones I've seen at Mobile World Congress 2012, this handset hits me as being one of the most striking. The slim profile, the 5" screen and the thin border look sweet. Like it? We've got a demonstration of the HTC One X from the Mobotnik team at mobile World Congress, from our little hairy HTC friend. This is the phone Lewis was drooling over earlier, in this HTC One X post. I'll admit, it does look pretty sweet.
