When the mischievous dead came out to play, they certainly weren't expecting a delicious, deep-pan nemesis to counter their demonic incursion. Pizza vs Skeletons may appear to be a somewhat cynical title at first glance - or a case of throwing random words together for the sake of wackiness - but the truth is that this crazy crust comes double-stuffed with innovation and polish.
Plus, you get to destroy the undead skeletons with a pizza topped with candy and jellyfish. Wearing a Mozart wig. Why haven't you bought it already?

Spice Bandits iPhone/iPad review
Ha! Spice Invaders! Very clever, Chillingo. Now all that remains is to review what must be a cheap and cheerful arcade shooter and knock off early... what's that? A tower defence game? With loads of unlockables and solid multiplayer? For free?
Touché. And to avoid this problem ever happening again, they've renamed it Spice Bandits.
Spice Invaders Bandits may be pretty, meaty and free, but is there a sting in the freemium tail?

Hello Copter iOS/Android Review
The App Store and Android Marketplace aren't just places to buy major hits from veteran developers. They're also the perfect start for newcomers who want to cut their teeth on indie game development and get their wares into the public domain; making a little money in the process.
Hello Copter is the product of one such outfit... but it's so polished and pretty that you'd never know. Plus, you'll never look at Twitter in the same way again.

The laborious trench warfare and horrific attrition between static armies just doesn't translate into fun - rather, it's a miserable and thought provoking part of our history that's best remembered with respect and regret.
Throw in Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos, however, and you've got a rich and exciting tableau for tactical action. The Wasted Land is one of the few Lovecraft-themed games to adopt a serious tone rather than pop culture parody, and it pays off.

Oh no, another tower defence game! Ready the fleets! Launch all defences! Battle stations!
Feel free to do all of the above, but be aware that Unstoppable Gorg is definitely not "just another" tower defence game. In fact, this premium app packs jaw-dropping production values, massive content and dynamic gameplay into its half-gig file size. It even improves upon its full-price PC brother while revolutionising the genre in the process.
They came from outer space. And we're so very glad they did.

Zombie games are all well and good (and starting to get a more than a little staid, if I'm honest), but they never seem to answer a simple question.
Who's going to clean up the mess afterwards?
Well, Zombie Wonderland 2 has the answer. You are. But at least you get to make the mess first.

Tiny Wings was one of 2011's best mobile games: a serene, soothing and charming experience that relied on only a single finger to navigate its procedurally-generated worlds.
However, a new bird has decided to try and unseat Tiny Wings from its lofty perch... and it's none other than Woody Woodpecker himself.
