While every manufacturer and his dog has had a go at the “phablet” thing, it’s still widely accepted that the Samsung Galaxy Note is king of that particular domain, and inevitably the Galaxy Note 5 will take the crown when it launches at IFA 2015 in September.

Unless; LG is tipped to resurrect its phablet range in the second half of 2015, with something called the LG G Note.

Team Mountain View has given its Google Play Devices section an overhaul, spinning it off into an entirely separate entity called Google Store, but aesthetics aside, there’s one very notable difference.

LG G4 render suggests curved Flex-style design

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 have finally launched, so naturally we’re now demanding more about the imminent Sony Xperia Z4 and LG G4. And heck, not forgetting the Apple iPhone 6S.

It’s LG’s next flagship under the microscope here, and as we await an official launch date, a leaked G4 render suggests we should perhaps expect a curved design, not unlike LG’s other big phone.
