Which has better battery life - Samsung Galaxy S III or Samsung Galaxy Note 2?
I realise the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a bigger battery, but it also has a bigger screen to power. Anyone used both for a longish period?

Note 2, without a shadow of a doubt. In fact, the N2 has the best battery life of pretty much any high-end smart phone (no-one bother mentioning the RAZR Maxx, it's not in the same league as the N2 or S3).

As for using it for a "long-ish" period, does every day with heavy use for over a month count? If so, I've used mine for a "long-ish" period. It's a very good phone; faster, better battery life and a nicer display than the S3. Not to mention you get the S-Pen and all the cool software related to using it.

If you're worried about size, don't be. You'll get used to it within a week and rather than the N2 seeming overly big, other phones will just look like toys.

The only downsides I've found are that the S-Pen doesn't operate the capacitive back and menu buttons under the display. Also, one handed use is impractical due to the N2's size (then again, that's true, albeit to a lesser extent, with the S3).
