BB10 Z10 priced at £480 at Carphone Warehouse

According to Engadget the Z10 has popped up at £480

This is a little disappointing to me as I think that is priced far too high, especially considering how close the iPhone 5 is on pricing and how desperatly RIM needs to steal back some market share.

What would the usual customer go for when presented with the options of a Nexus 4 (£399 in CPW), iPhone 5 (£510) or the Z10? My guess would be not the BB, I have visions of Palm all over again....

Not sure they would be getting too many usual buyers from cpw even if it was under cpw price for n4 (which I'd guess is selling in negligible numbers tbh)
Assumed that it would be contract and business users (and mad Jan) rather than people wandering in cpw and playing with the phones. N4 is slightly less than 399 on pay and go.

Wouldn't be surprised if cpw price changes anyway.

The 9900 s STILL £450 at Expansys; €499 at O2 Ireland on prepay etc etc... Lumia 920 is €750-ish sim-free.
I expected mad pricing, tbh.
If the QWERTY X10 is also in that price range, they really need to push that mid-ranger quickly, methinks.
Anyhoo - I'd draw the sim-free line at €450. More, I'd wait for a used one.
I'm interested, but not that interested.

Expansys prices are mad enough to be only worth ignoring. That the old one is cheaper at o2 suggests that too.
Other than form factor and hence screen size do they have comparable specs, if so can't see it being significantly less.
