Does BBM cost extra on all networks?

Do all networks charge a fiver for BBM and data?

They'll all* sell you some sort of add-on, because Blackberry uses its own servers to deliver mail, IM and browser content to your phone.
On the plus-side: you will use less data through your network (if any). Also, BB juse a patented compression technology, so data traffic is reduced and you'll be able to use email and IM comfortably even on a crappy 2G signal.

*= I believe BBM is free on Three, but I might be wrong.
