More likely the 4s I'd guess. Time will tell
79 million iphones sold before i5 released, mostly the i4s I'd guess, can't see the i5 making up that ground.

One thing that made me wonder briefly was seeing prediction of 15m sales this quarter for the Nokia 920, sadly for Nokia it was on Wikipedia and didn't seem to have any evidence to back it up. I think Elop would be crowing loudly already if it was approaching that.
Is it telling that predictive text wants to make his name Flop?

Hahahaha guess Elop edited that wiki? I read yesterday, they had hoped to sell 6 million Lumias (all Lumias combined) by year's end, but that they now 'hope' to make 4 million. And they just delayed 7.8 update to January! Great incentive ;)

Oh, and methinks SGS 3. iPhone 4S sales cooled as the 5 neared, and 5 will take a while to catch up with SGS 3...

I would really like to see number for low-cost phones. Xperia U, Blackberries, S-Ace maybe. They should be pretty big.

True. Cheap BBs still sell massively here in Ireland - as do Ashas (not smartphones, though). And yes, the gros of Android sales are entry-level to midrange.

I'd go for the Galaxy S3...but that's just a guess, it could be the iP4S or the iP5.

Can't imagine the U was doing all that well or don't think it would have had such price drops, unless they dropped it knowing they were going to ditch work on jb for it.
Can't see s3 reaching the 50 or so million it would likely need to topple 4s

It'd already hit 30 million by the beginning of November. Is that 50 million including 4S sales from 2011?

I agree about the Xperia U though, no way that is 2012's best selling phone.

Great plan limiting availability of phone you need to succeed to one network...

No 50m is just a lowish estimate of 4s based on iPhone sales of 79million this year before the 5 launched. Mixed reports on how well it is still selling too.
Think the n2 i5 launches and the n4 pricing could have hit s3 sales too tbh. Though the s3 has dropped a bit in price..
