BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 pops up on O2

BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 pops up on O2Is it just me, or do we seem to be writing about the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 quite a lot? Some lunatic (am I allowed to say that?) paid £900 for one on eBay at the beginning of July, and recently we got an idea of pricing. Ok, so twice then.

Now we’ve got the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 popping up on O2’s coming soon page.

The network doesn’t tell us anything about pricing specifically, though uSwitch recently reported it’d cost “a slither over £35” on Orange, Vodafone and O2. It’s not clear how long those contracts will be, but 18 months is probably a safe bet.

With a 1.2GHz single-core processor, the Bold Touch 9900 will be the most powerful BlackBerry yet. It’ll also rock the spanking new OS 7.

Other spectoids include a 2.8in touchscreen above the four-row QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP camera, and 8GB of on-board storage.

Also on the coming soon page are a couple of Alcatel phones, and no less than three Sony Ericsson handsets arriving in September, namely the Mix Walkman phone, Xperia mini pro and Xperia Ray.
