A lot of bad sh*t has happened to RIM this year (largely their own doing, of course), but one thing they can pop quite emphatically in the plus column is the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900. It’s pretty good, man.
In fact, it’s been so well received that the RIMicans have decided to release a spanking new white model. Nice.
Fancy it? There’s a huge array of tariffs available via the usual suspects, such as Phones 4u and Dialaphone. Vodafone had announced a brief period of exclusivity, but it now appears to be available on T-Mobile and Orange (Everything Everywhere), Vodafone, and O2.
The BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 boasts both a 2.8in touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. It’s also the most powerful BlackBerry yet, with a 1.2GHz single-core processor.
The shooter is a 5MP effort with 720p video capture, and there’s 8GB of internal storage (expandable via Micro SD, natch). BlackBerry OS 7 takes control in the OS cockpit.
Is it bad that we also quite like the look of the slightly ridiculous Porsche Design P'9981? Yeah, probably.
