hahaha... although: in those pics I don't find them that similar. The Z10 isn't exactly skinny, either.

Yeah less than compelling, but then compared to the samsung with a slide out keyboard looking the same as the iphone....

The F700 with the Croix UI? I had one of those. Good keypad - everything else: craptastic. But in NO way AT all like the iPhone

Going by the look of that I'm thinking erm no, something US centric with android. brb.

Hmmm moderated.
Blaming Ahmad :)

Hehe, I just blame mobots moderation system.
*stares at matt*

I just find it funny a Chinese company is accusing a western company of copying. Usually its the other way round :p

Off-topically: I do Iike that BB. Go on, hit me :)) Can't wait to find out which part of it RIM f*cked up. Probably a sucky cam and 90 minute battery standby with push "on" ;)

Pondlife  Jan. 13, 2013 at 00:46

I'll guess at slow and clunky in use, still with no apps. Oh and silly price. And huge logo on front

AhmadCentral  Jan. 13, 2013 at 00:52

What pondlife said^ although I will try and get hold of one to try it out to see if I like it. I really want to try one of the QWERTY phones as well to see how well the OS fits in.

Pondlife  Jan. 13, 2013 at 00:55

qwerty will suffer with the small screen, no way round that in that format.

JanSt / MOD  Jan. 13, 2013 at 01:46

The QWERTY one seems a bit odd - screen's almost square...and the keypad looks rubbish; at least in those "leaked" photos.
The touchscreener's look I actually like. And it's chunky enough to make me think they didn't skimp in terms of battery. The logo on the front was inevitable.
Apps could be the bummer. Though, I don't mind - can live without most of the hyped stuff, but OS7 lacked some 'vitals'...
It could end up like webOS/Pre 3 ... mix of great ideas let down by execution and 3rd party support.

AhmadCentral  Jan. 13, 2013 at 10:19

Yep, its for the exact above reasons I want to try it out. It'll either work well or be terrible

JanSt / MOD  Jan. 13, 2013 at 10:31

Only 6 or 7 weeks :D
I'm sure it'll be more interesting than yet another "game-changing" Android or iOS upgrade. ;)
(I said, "interesting" - not "better" hahahA)
