Unfortunately, Blackberry still have a crappy App store and this phone won't see the light of day until at least mid-2012, by which time it'll be as outdated as all BBs.

The way Microsoft and Nokia are throwing money at devs, the BlackBerry AppWorld won't fill up so soon, that is for sure. Of course, even the 8520 Curve has more to offer out-of-the-box than a Lumia or Optimus 7. And by the time the "London" is due for take-ofF, WP7 will be a flop that outflops Vista and the Windows tablet PC. If everything goes to plan. :p

Seriously, though: that leaked "London"? C'mon - Q3 2012! (If it's even real)... So much can happen,

By Q3 2012 we'll be starting to discuss hexacore Android phones for early 2013 release...dual core suddenly seems old news...

Bold 9900 is actually quite of a phone. If only it would be priced right. RIM already has some good phone, but they are way overpriced compared to competition.

CTPAHHIK - agree!!!
Been using a Bold 9900 for 10 days now (a loan). And. As I already said elsewhere, no other phone has impressed me that much in 2 years or so. I have had zero freezes; it's very fast, has some clever subtle features, it performs well even on poor 2G reception. Screen is very responsive and crisp, and on 10% brightness is legible in sunlight (geeks, that is the bright stuff outside the basement window :p )! Build quality is examplary! I treated it quite badly for 10 days, dropped it twice, kept it in pocket with keys etc - not a mark. You could take a magnifying glass to it. No blemishes.
The keypad is like nothing else. Perfection!

Is it worth 500+ bucks? Debatable... Is a soon-to-be-old-news Sammy or Moto worth 450? As debatable. POVs - everyone has one...

Bold has amazing keyboard. RIM made keys slightly bigger - makes all the difference. For anyone who wants BB with easy to use keyboard this is the phone to get. At £460 it's quite expensive. £350-ish is where it belongs.

yep, £350 is what O2 ireland take for prepay version. Tenner to unlock ;)
