BlackBerry Z10: first BlackBerry 10 handset pictured in black and (also) white

BlackBerry Z10: first BlackBerry 10 handset pictured in black and (also) whiteHmm, one of those strange things there where the headline almost suggested that the BlackBerry Z10 had been pictured in black and white. Y’know, like in the olden days – before colour.

Fear not; the leaked BlackBerry Z10 press shot encompasses a range of blues and blacks and stuff, with the actual handset depicted in both black and white. Sorry, can you tell I just woke up?

We’re thanking the dudes at Unwired View for the leaked BlackBerry Z10 press shot, which was “obtained by a reliable source”.

Over the years, we’ve grown accustomed to RIM using four digits in its smartphone names – the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 and Curve 9300 being two you’re probably quite familiar with.

More recently, in the run up to the BlackBerry 10 launch, we’ve been referring to the touchscreen L-Series and QWERTY-rockin’ N-Series.

Now we’re looking at something called the BlackBerry Z10, which might very well be the first BlackBerry 10 handset from the L-Series.

Furthermore, the Unwired chaps suggest that the first BlackBerry 10 handset from the N-Series might be called the BlackBerry X10. I could get on board with those names, actually. Interesting...

In any case, the BlackBerry 10 launch goes down on January 30, which is just under six weeks from now. ‘Citing.

So L10 wouldn't make more sense for the L series?
Ugly in white, shouldn't put the writing on the front either.

Hmmm, quite a big bezel top and bottom there. Not as sleek looking as I hoped.

I've said this before but the phone reminds me of a Jiayu G3.
