The BlackBerry 10 launch is rapidly approaching, though exact specs for the first wave of devices remain a mystery – even with less than two weeks to go.
However, a pile of purportedly official RIM documentation spills the beans on the first L-Series phone in its various guises.
It’s been drilled into us over the past few months that L-Series means all touch (as opposed to those with a physical QWERTY). More recently we’ve been referring to the first device as the BlackBerry Z10, while individual variants have the codenames London (that's the non-4G one), Laguna, Liverpool and Lisbon.
Uhm, let’s call it the BlackBerry Z10, for now. So, according to these leaked documents, BlackBerry Z10 specs include a 4.2in display (1280 x 768), 16GB internal storage, 2GB of RAM, NFC (Near Field Communication) and an 1,800mAh battery.
On the camera side, the BlackBerry Z10 will have an 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, while the front camera is of the 2MP variety.
Yeah, that all chimes with what we’ve been hearing to date. No mention of microSD in this particular BlackBerry Z10 leak, but fingers crossed.
