Block adult content on a Nexus 7?

Does the Google Nexus 7 have a content filter? It's a Christmas present being given to a young lad :)

A couple of apps to limit time/apps available but this seems to be the best rated

Also, FamilyShield by OpenDNS is setup to block adult material

Not to my knowledge. ALSO: Consider that he can install any one of a few dozen other browsers, that, quite possibly, let him circumvent any restrictions you set up.
One of the reasons why Android is so popular - there's always a way to get it to do
just what you want it to do. Even if a mobile network blocks adult sites, a 3rd party browser that uses a proxy server will make those restrictions null and void.

Best approaches? A) do not give him a cornucopia of naughty or B) trust him. Talk with him
