The iPhone 6 in two sizes, the iWatch, the iPad Air 2, the iPad mini 3… All of those shiny new Apple products are tipped to land throughout September and October 2014, after an 11-month iDevice drought.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, we’re reminded that a gigantic 12.9in Apple iPad Pro is on the horizon, with a vague ETA of early next year.
That’s the story over on Bloomberg, and while the “people with knowledge of the matter… ask not to be identified because the details aren’t public”, they aren’t saying much – or indeed anything – we haven’t heard before.
The largest iPad in the history of iPads will have a 12.9in display, we’re told, which gels with – yep – pretty much every iPad “Pro” rumour to date.
The anonymous peeps promise only that production will commence “by the first quarter of next year”, which is still pretty bloomin’ vague.
For what it’s worth, the sources also reiterate the notion of a 4.7in and 5.5in iPhone 6, alongside an “updated 9.7in iPad” and a “new version of the iPad mini”. Sorry, I should’ve warned you to hold onto your hats there. Apologies.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to get a job as an anonymous source. First tip: Samsung to launch Galaxy S6 in late Q1/early Q2 2015. YOU HEARD ME.
