My 99p case (which is nothing like this one, it's an S-Line TPU case) is still going strong. I've used several of them in different colours on both my S2 and Note 2 and I can't fault their performance. I don't see how spending 10 times more would have got me 10x better protection and looks, tbh.

Yeah, I meant this very model. Seen it, used it. ;)

Ahh, fair enough. Plastic case with a piece of tin foil on the back, for that oh so "premium" aluminium look haha :p...?

Because I can't be bothered to go and find the relevant thread, what have you decided to do with the HTC One?

JanSt / MOD  May. 6, 2013 at 11:07

Sell it. :(
It's great hardware, Sense 5 (minus Blinkfeed) is nice and subtle.... Yet, I still hate Android.
Even lame apps that look perfectly harmless on iOS, or even MeeGo manage to appear garish to my eyes... I'm just not bred for Android, I guess.
Great phone, though, really.

I guess Android really isn't for you then, if there's a device which runs Android but doesn't look like Android, it has to be the One.

How much are you selling it for?

Someone's looking at it on Wed. If he takes it, I'll make some money ;)

and you're right: the One ticks many boxes that I like ticked (sound and camera VERY good, screen excellent; fast and relatively 'subtle' UI... yet, I just cannot get myself to use it with any degree of fun or satisfaction. I just have to stop buying Android devices. No drama.

I'd still maintain the HTC One is probably one of the best devices I ever used.
