Is there something you can buy to boost the mobile signal indoors?

My mobile signal is great outside, but terrible indoors. Is there such a thing as a signal booster for mobiles?

Yes, they are called repeaters. Most networks actually sell them. But you can also buy them online. The problem is: they can interfere with all other numbers. So if there's more than 1 mobile in the house, things can get tricky ;) You definitely want an option to return it if it doesn't work for you.

Where would you buy it? I see things on Amazon but there's stuff about routers too, so a bit confuising.

First of all remember that using signal boosters in the UK is simply illegal. Only one signal booster is legal to use in the UK and it's Cel-fi RS2 from Nextivity.

Here is more info on whether the mobile phone signal boosters are legal in the UK

and here on how to boost the mobile signal indoors

Hope that helps :)
