Hi Mikey. :) To get rid of the “Sweep the Glass to Unlock the Phone” feature on the Samsung Galaxy S, check out a Market app called No Lock. It makes the phone much easier to unlock, by simply pressing the Home key.

Have a look in the XDA themes and apps section for the SGS, http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=666, you'll most likely need to root your phone and install Clockword mod to flash these lockscreens but some of them look lush :)

why ? Does 2.3 let you change the swipe to unlock in some way ? If so please list steps
