Chinese manufacturer Huawei is a busy bee over at CES 2013 in Las Vegas this week. Already this morning we’ve taken a peek – of sorts – at the Windows Phone-rockin’ Huawei Ascend W1.
One of Huawei’s other big players is the Ascend Mate, notable for its colossal 6.1in display.
We first learned of the beastly chap back in October, and now Huawei Ascend Mate specs and what not have been made official.
The Huawei Ascend Mate’s 6.1in display has a resolution of 720 x 1280 (241 PPI), with a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage (with microSD compatibility).
On Huawei Ascend Mate OS duties, it’s Jelly Bean (Android 4.1), while the rear camera is of the 8MP variety. Front side, you’ll find a 1MP shooter.
One of the big talking points with the Huawei Ascend Mate (other than the gigantic display) is its monstrous 4,050mAh battery.
In combination with some smart power management type stuff, Huawei claims you’ll ultimately get two days’ use on a single charge. Can’t argue with that.
There’s no word on Huawei Ascend Mate price or availability just yet, but we’ll relay that junk just as soon as it becomes available.
In the meantime, what are you thinking? Gimme gimme gimme, or way too big?
