Can you change a contract phone if you dont like it?

When you start a new contract can you change the phone within XX days if you dont like it or does there have to be something wrong with the phone?

There's a "cooling off period", by law on any UK phone contract, I think it's 14 days but I'm not 100% sure. In this period you can take the phone back without having to pay off the remainder of the contract. If there is something wrong with the phone, you can take it back at any time within the phone's warranty period. Usually 1 or 2 years, depending on the phone and manufacturer.

Nah you cant just change it if you 'dont like it anymore'. If that was the case I would have had a different phone every three months! (_;)

Of course (as matt mentioned) you have 14 days to return the phone. However, that would also terminate the contract.
