I was going to buy this when it was £69.95 at Phones4U, but it suddenly went up to £89.95 a week ago. It's since gone down to £84.95. Why do prices fluctuate so much? It didn't indicate that it was a special offer. How long before it goes down again to £69.95?

£70 must have been one good offer or an error on their side (it happens ;) ) - sim-locked on prepay it's £90 on Vodafone etc... Sim-free they seem to go for over a hundred.
It's not a budget phone, and odd keypad aside, it some got decent reviews. You could search for a good prepay offer and get it unlocked for a tenner. Or wait for a better offer.

I thought all phones fromPhones4u were unlocked? It's selling there at £85 on Orange, and higher elsewhere - £100 at Carphonewarehouse, whose phones are unlocked. It was £69.95 on Phones4U for several weeks - should have bought it then. I had no idea the price would suddenly rise!
