How do I clear all iOS notifications in one swoop?

I've got quite a few notifications on my iPhone (5, iOS 8) when I pull down the notifications screen. Is there any way to Dismiss All instead of tapping the 'X' several times?

I do not think you can clear all notifications in the Notification Centre in one go in iOS 8.x.x
It's per app... Maybe I'm wrong, though.

I hardly use the Notification Centre when I use iDevices. I was delighted when they introduced the Centre, but I think it's both too limited and too over-the-top.

I usually disable notification in the NC. I just have Banner popups enabled.
Maybe your solution is to just disable notifications for useless things? Do you need to know what features some app just added? If you have no time to adequately deal with Twitter or FB, why deal with notifications? I open Twitter when I have the time and when I'm in the right mood.
